God's love, grace, and forgiveness
Salvation Plan
- Salvation is for everyone:
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believe in him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Jesus paid sin's price for you:
- 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do
not be deceived, neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindelers will inherit the kingdon of God."
- Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ
our Lord."
John 10:10 "The devil comes not, but for to steal, and to kill and to destroy: but Jesus is come that you may have life, and that you may have it more abundantly."
Believe in your heart and ask God for forgiveness:
- Romans 10:9-10 "If you confess with your mouth to the Lord Jesus Christ, and believe in your heart
that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
The choice is yours, so is the consequence of heaven or hell.
- Romans 6:16 "His servants you are to whom you obey: whether of sin unto death, or of obedience
unto righteousness."
Now that you are a Christian, we encourage you to:
1. Trust in Jesus. Blessed is the one who makes the Lord his trust. You can trust in Him
2. Seek after God. He who comes to God must believe that God is, and that God rewards those
that diligently seek him.
3. Read the Bible daily. The Bible is our road map and instructions in serving God. Read it with an
open mind and heart and let God pour himself into you.
4. Pray daily. Prayer is our communication to God. He always hears our prayers and he wants you
to fellowship with him through prayer.
5. Attend church regularly. It is important to have a church that you regularly attend and that you
are an active part of. Fellowship is a very important part of christian living allowing reciprocal
support to & from your church family. Find yourself a Bible teaching, Gospel believing church and
be faithful.
6. Tell others about the love of Christ and what he has done for you. Jesus said in Acts 1:8...
"You shall be witnesses unto him."
Knowing your sins are forgiven and you are ready for heaven is as simple as the following steps:
- A. Admit you have sinned...
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23)
"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us" (1 John 1:8).
- B. Believe in Jesus...
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
- C. Confess and leave your sin...
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
You might want to use the following prayer as a guide:
- Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I'm a sinner, and I'm sorry for my sin. Thank You for dying on the Cross for me. Please forgive me of my sin, and accept me as Your child. I desire to live for You, Jesus. Amen.
